1-: Rhododendron Tree
Even though Rhododendrons are technically a shrub, this ancient giant most certainly passes for a tree. Not just any tree, after a photo of it, was uploaded to Reddit, it has come to be known as one of the most beautiful trees around. Located in British Columbia, this beauty is even more stunning in spring and early summer before the blooms begin to fall. More than 300 tropical species of this tree are widely distributed from North America to Europe, Russia and Asia, and from Greenland to Australia. Rhododendrons have the ability to self-propagate as well. These are extensively used as ornamental plants because of their size, structure, and flowers. Many of these species are even grown commercially for trade
2-:Wisteria Tree
Instead of getting taller with time, the rapidly expanding Wisteria trees prefer to move outward, offering ample shade beneath their boughs draped in flowers. The largest Wisteria can be found in Japan which is one acre in size. One of the oldest Wisteria can be found in Japan which is close to 150 years old. This would surely qualify for one of the most amazing trees in the world. It is very fast-growing and can grow in poor quality soils as well. Wisteria is native to Japan, China, and Korea, and has also been introduced to the Eastern United States. It can grow as high as 20m and spread out 10m laterally. At times difficult to control, these drip with purple blooms that bring a royal sensibility to any landscape.
3-:Redwood Tree
The redwood tree holds the record of the world’s tallest tree soaring up to 350 ft. These trees are on Earth for the last 60 million years. They have an average lifespan of 600 years. Redwood grows in the moist climate of Northern California (USA). As per scientists, a fully grown redwood can hold more than 30,000 pounds of water. They are evergreen conifers and can grow up to 22 ft. in diameter. For thousands of years, the people of the area managed to live in harmony with these ancient trees, understanding the importance of their unique forest ecosystem. And then the gold rush happened. With the arrival of hundreds of thousands of gold-seekers starting in 1849, the redwoods were doomed. Logged into near oblivion to keep up with the demand for lumber, today, only 5 percent of the original old-growth coast redwood forest remains, fewer than 100,000 acres dotted along the coast.
4-:Cherry Blossom Tree
According to the National Cherry Blossom Festival in D.C., the flower is a symbol of the friendship between Japan and the U.S.Cherry blossom trees look delicate and you yourself can grow, provided you have a location with full sunlight well-drained soil. Depending on the varieties, the size of these trees can vary from 20m tall to 35m tall. Cherry blossom is the national flower of Japan. This is one of the most beautiful trees in the world. Cherry trees grow quickly, however, they don’t last very long. A new cherry tree can fully grow in 20-30 years. These are weather dependent and lasts for about a month every spring
5-:Dragon Blood Tree
Dragon blood tree is an evergreen tree that belongs to the genus Dracaena. It can be found on the Socotra archipelago (four islands in the Indian Ocean). Dragon blood tree grows in harsh, arid areas that are rich in limestone. Large groups of dragon blood trees can be found in foggy, cloudy regions. Dragon blood tree is the remainder of the sub-tropical forests that existed during the Pliocene. Despite its long history and unique morphology, the future of the dragon blood tree is uncertain due to over-exploitation by humans, habitat fragmentation, and climate changes. Dragon blood tree is currently classified as vulnerable. This should definitely be another candidate for one of the most amazing trees in the world. The Dragon blood tree has a unique appearance and looks like a shape of an uprightly held umbrella. The name originated because of its dark red raisin which is also known as dragon’s blood. This tree’s unusual shape helps in surviving in arid conditions with a low amount of soil. Though the dragon blood tree is highly widespread, human activities have greatly reduced regeneration due to overgrazing
6-:Jacaranda Tree
7-:Maple Tree
A maple tree is a plant that belongs to the family Aceraceae. There are 128 species and a couple of thousand varieties of maples that can be found mostly in the northern hemisphere. Fossil pieces of evidence indicate that maples exist on the planet for at least 100 million years. Certain species of maples vanished during the ice age. These plants are cultivated because of their ornamental morphology, production of maple syrup, and commercial application of the wood. Unfortunately, out of 128 species, 54 are faced with an uncertain future due to habitat loss.
8-:Frankenstein Tree
A Tree of 40 Fruit is one of a series of fruit trees created by Syracuse University Professor Sam Van Aken using the technique of grafting. Each tree produces forty types of stone fruit, of the genus Prunus, ripening sequentially from July to October in the United States'Frankenstein' trees which are capable of producing 40 different types of stone fruit at once including peaches, plums, nectarines, cherries, and almonds - and this month they'll be ripe and ready to eat.
9-:Cypress Tree
Cypress, any of 12 species of ornamental and timber evergreen conifers constituting the genus Cupressus of the family Cupressaceae, distributed throughout warm-temperate and subtropical regions of Asia, Europe, and North America. Many resinous, aromatic evergreen trees called cypress belong to other genera of the same family, especially species of false cypress and cypress pine. The name “cypress” is occasionally used for some species of fustic and for bald cypress; in eastern Canada, it often denotes jack pine.
10-: Topiary Tree
Different types of plants are used for topiaries, though some specific types prove to fare far better than others. Four such plant types exist shrubs, hedges, herbs, and vines. For shrubs, the most popular types include boxwood, holly, laurel, and privet. Excellent-looking pyramidal, cylindrical, and obelisk-like designs are best achieved with hedges; herbs are perfect for smaller pieces or as mini gift items (and they have the fragrance to boot), and vines offer perhaps the most possibilities for achieving various forms
